“We don’t grow when things are easy; we grow when we face challenges.”
Life challenges you at every point whether it’s your personal life or career. We all have been in these situations when life seems like the most challenging obstacle. But don’t allow your problems to overshadow your strengths. Be strong face the challenges of life.
Most of us get really afraid and run away from problems because we don’t want to accept reality the way it is. Running away from your problems is the worst thing you can do to deal with the challenges you are faced with.
Just consider your life as a cricket playground without fielders/ wicket keeper so there is no chance to get bowled until you! You leave the ground. Life will keep on bowling, what if we missed one ball? The other ball is on its way. So never get discouraged by some random challenges thrown by life, accept the challenge in all way it comes in.
“Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.” ~Charles Swindoll
I have some tips for you below on learning how to deal with everyday challenges. Start now and develop the self-discipline to practice the below points.
Avow your goals- When everything seems scattered, understand you still have options, and then assert precisely what you want for yourself.
I want to live my life using my natural gifts. I want to create, write, teach, paint, and inspire, and to use my skills to generate the energy to live and love well. I’m working toward my goals, but I understand they might not all come to end. If things don’t come out exactly as I hope, I know I can deal with it positively.
I’ll give myself a break, discuss it with a friend, and do whatever I need to do to get the clarity, and then I’ll re-evaluate The important thing is that I know my ambition has to make my heart rise and excite me.
This is the first step in creating a life you’ll feel passionate about.
Embrace your life as it is rather than as you wish it to be-
Don’t reside on everything you think your life lacks. Instead, pay attention to what’s going right. I have the life that I want: I write every day. I take risks. I seek opportunities to use my skills. I’m sowing the seeds. I use my natural gifts and enable all that I have to grow, strengthen, and come into light. Focusing on lack is not an option. The important thing is that I know what I want and I can make it happen.
There is freedom in taking life as it comes to us—the good with the bad, the wonderful with the tragic, the love with the loss, and the life with the death. When we embrace it all, then we have a real chance to enjoy life.
Stay close to your feelings, even the painful ones-
Often we find our feelings scary, heavy, and confusing, so we try to keep them at a distance. But we need our feelings in order to find satisfaction, meaning, and pleasure in life. Getting rid of feelings not only backfires but it also drains us of the psychological energy that makes life worth living. Feelings are the gas in the engine of our personalities. They are the source of motivation. They are the energy, the vitality, the juice of life. Without them, our lives wouldn’t have any personality or dimension or color. There wouldn’t be any joy or creativity or fun. There wouldn’t be you. There wouldn’t be me. Without our feelings, nothing would really matter.
Accept Success and Failure as part of life’s journey-
We are all learning. No one gets it right every time. A more empathetic attitude toward ourselves only helps us to stay in the game. The dynamic process of life—trying, succeeding, failing, and trying again—is the only way to develop confidence in ourselves. We learn through experience that we can both succeed and recover from failure.
Improve on yesterday.
Do something that will make today better than what’s come before. What do you feel you missed out on? Can you do something about that now? Yes? Do it!
Re-affirm verbally, physically, mentally, creatively, and socially all that you have and energize it so that it continues to develop. Present tense and positive communication lead to progress.
Don’t give up.
You might slip but know that you’ll be okay as long as you learn, act, and remember that you already have all that you need. View yourself as other positive people. Recognize what you’re doing well, instead of dwelling on what you wish you did better.I know a lot of people may think I haven’t “reached” the place where I need to be yet. I’m not in denial, I need money, good health, and love, but I am optimistic, and I move forward and trust. I know it’s getting better. I also know that my present experience will ultimately enrich my life.
“Don't give up! It's not over. The universe is balanced. Every set-back bears with it the seeds of a come-back.”
